How to Measure Inseam for Underwear | Crossfly Fit Guide

When it comes to comfort, the right fit makes all the difference—especially with underwear. One of the key measurements that ensures proper support and avoids riding up is the inseam. So, what exactly is it and how do you measure it?

What Is an Inseam?

The inseam is the length from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the leg opening. In the Crossfly men’s underwear collection, it determines how far the leg extends and plays a big role in how the fabric sits against your body throughout the day.

How to Measure Your Inseam for Underwear

  1. Wear a pair of well-fitting boxers or boxer briefs you already own and like.

  2. Stand straight with your legs slightly apart.

  3. Using a soft measuring tape, measure from the centre of the crotch (where the seams meet) down to the end of the leg hem.

  4. Note the length in inches—this is your ideal inseam.

At Crossfly, we offer 3”, 6” ands 7” inseam lengths to suit your preference. Whether you’re after our short-leg design for freedom of movement or a longer inseam for extra coverage and reduced chafing, getting your size right means better performance and all-day comfort.
